Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she worked at WCBD as anchor for the morning show and as a crime reporter. In Charleston O'Dell's stories about the relaxed approach police take to DUI cases resulted in a State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in State authorities issuing an even more strict directive on DUI situations. Ms. O'Dell won her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. In the years following her stint in Charleston O'Dell served as anchor, co-anchor, and investigative reporter for the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor as well as a weekday correspondent. Alongside her job as the lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and in addition for Dateline NBC. She has covered major events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. Alongside co-hosting the Pre-ShowArrivals to The Emmys & The Golden Globes. She co-hosted both The Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
