Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue an occupation as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. There she played various roles ranging in local independent films as well as global commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. She relocated in New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. During early 2000s she had small roles in JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first role in a major series on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside a number of the famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Later, she starred in The Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza received several nominations for her character, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, she won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko as the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. In the NBC's dramatic, dark show Do No Harm she played the character of Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The younger sister Cory has a ten year old brother who is younger than her. Milano was born into an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano launched her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her at an audition. Four girls were selected from over 1000 aspirants. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, like the American premiere musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
